FOMO or the fear of missing out
is triggering people to be
here, there, everywhere
at times, ending up with biting off
more than they can chew!
So even while interacting with one
your mind is elsewhere
thinking what others may be doing
you are at one webinar
wondering whether you should have been at another
Enjoying what you do, even if few
being totally involved and focused
is perhaps lot better than
distracted association with many
yes, it makes sense
less, can be more!
NB: Fear of missing out (FOMO) is a social anxiety stemming from the belief that others might be having fun while the person experiencing the anxiety is not present. It is characterized by a desire to stay continually connected with what others are doing.
FOMO is also defined as a fear of regret, which may lead to concerns that one might miss an opportunity for social interaction, a novel experience or a profitable investment. It is the fear that deciding not to participate is the wrong choice
Less can be more indeed!
