Write, on “the woman you love the most”
Exhorts organizors of a “poetry contest”
Seeds sown for avoidable conflicts
Is one to choose between mother & spouse?
Or worse still- face dire consequences
If choice is from a shortlist !
Easier to celebrate womanhood
The one side of coin without which
The other side is incomplete, of no value
They can come in many ways and forms
A kind teacher at school, an aunt, grandmom
A friend who engages you in stimulating discussions
A doting daughter for whom you are hero
Surely, very challenging for many
To choose one over the other!
To my mind, mother Earth, the ever giving
Never complaining, epitome of love
In the form of trees, water, natural resources
