Placement of Pillars

In order to have a firm structure for building
the pillars are placed away from each other
properly positioned  from each side
to hold it firmly in  place

Similarly envisaged in a constitution
are that the pillars of legislature, executive
the judiciary and fourth estate
remain sufficiently distant
to serve as checks and balances
for each other ...

What if the the pillars of structure get too close
or the pillars of a constitution act in collusion?
the destruction of both is guaranteed
the doomsday for the structure is not far away
It is just a matter of time....

  4. Yes, we need proper space in between pillars to have a structure that can stand the test of time. A good metaphor for me. Excellent piece, Rajeev.
