This short poem was written in response to call given by the Haven International on its FB page in connection with the Republic Day 2024.
As we celebrate our nation's 75th Republic day
Remember with love & gratitude, oh countrymen
The millions who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle
Remember with pride & reverence, distinguished members
Of constituent assembly who shaped our constitution
Pledge to fight and defend till last breath
the sovereignty of our nation , sacred framework of constitution!
