Memories galore
going long way back
to youth, to childhood
memories, some sweet
worth treasuring, others bitter
best forgotten...
Memories, some so fragrant
like fresh jasmine flowers
galloping away freely, happily, light heartedly
others that make you cringe, if recalling
even a trace of it...
Amnesia is what I seek
from memories bitter
while wishing to embrace
feel, hold on to, the sweet memories
in a heightened experience....
After all, it is the sweet little memories
that soften life's blows, keeps you going
in tough, difficult times
friends who stands by you
for the rest of your life
Friend or foe, memories are companions for life!

ReplyDeleteMemories are like fragrance of the flowers and people tend to enjoy its presence though cannot see but only smell. Memories take us back to good olden days traversing time warp zone though physically impossible. They give us the much needed impetus to cherish ❤💕moments. ❤💙💚💛
