there
Since not in use for so long
A garment traces its life
long way back to
When I was a teenager at
school
A time when India’s first
‘Super star’
Popularized them, only to
fade away
The star himself had a
meteoric rise
And equally sharp decline
from the top!
Yes, tucked away at a corner,
almost apologetic
Was the humble ‘Guru shirt’
Reminding of its hey days…
