Seniors Today-life & time is an online magazine exclusively focusing on the needs of senior citizens that include health, self help (Legal, money, technology), travel, nostalgia (Films, music) etc. Their tagline is "India's #1 destination for seniors. Seniors Today for some time now have also been organizing a singing contest for senior citizens titled "Seniors have Talent" which is into the 5th season. I came across a video of this contest by chance on You Tube. They were in the last leg of the preliminaries and invited registrations for the last group of season 5.
I promptly applied and got to participate in the last round/ group of singing on Sunday 30th October 2021. Four winners will be selected from the group on the basis of a combination of voting and judges' decision who would join winners from 5 earlier groups for the final contest . The total of 24 contestants will vie for trophies in the finals to be held on 14th November. Interestingly, in the finals four of the best among the finalists will be identified and given trophies without assigning them any numbers of hierarchy.
